Yeah, that would be a problem. You'd need some way of marking and maybe anchoring your path, assuming it was a two-way thing. Otherwise...might end up in the wrong 'home'.

Might be part of the reason the Malnosso can't figure it out yet, if we want to give them benefit of the doubt. If you don't know the right formula numbers, you can make a lot of screw ups just by putting one wrong number in the right place. Probably like putting the wrong symbols in a circle, I'd guess. Result wouldn't be pretty.
